Summer
Summertime brings with it new growth in plants and beautiful colour and blossoms into our gardens. Here are some Summer favourites of mine.
The Flowering Crab apple ‘Rudolph’ is a really special tree. In May it is full of cerise pink flowers , these look amazing against its coppery coloured foliage. The added bonus with this one are the really nice looking orange crab apples it yields in Autumn. The Laburnum is really spectacular too with its yellow flower tassels draping from each branch. Another good choice is the Wild Lilac, a beautifully scented shrub which looks gorgeous when in bloom . Its clusters of lilac coloured flowers are really fabulous!
